About Us

Our Story: growing up, I didn't see many stories of success from people who looked like me, so I started a podcast from my bedroom at university to share them, and to bring more representation to the world of founders and changemakers.From podcast to agency: that small podcast is now a global community, with more than 4.4 million impressions in the last month, listeners in 70+ countries, and conversations with Forbes founders, creatives, activists and leaders. The more guests I met, the more brilliant stories I found that nobody was hearing yet, and I realised that the builders could benefit from better communication.How we started: we took everything the podcast taught us about storytelling, strategy and production, and started using it to bring other founders, brands and ideas to life. That's how Empower Sounds Media began.The current chapter: today we build founder personal brands that attract vision board opportunities, through podcasts, personal branding and content. About Me

Hi, I'm Maahika

I'm the founder of Empower Sounds Media, host of the Reclaiming Bossy podcast, creator of the Bossy & Brown magazine and an ambassador for the Inspiring Girls charity. I was named one of the UK's top 100 female founders by F:Entrepreneur, and I'm a speaker and presenter.

My work has always been centred around my passion for creating and telling stories, and working with talented and underrepresented founders.
